Canadian tennis star
Eugenie Bouchard was involved in an awkward incident with her Uber driver this week, for which she apologized on social media soon after.
The former Wimbledon finalist apologized publicly to one of her Uber drivers because of her creepy text message. Bouchard shared the message she sent to her Uber driver Todd on Instagram. "I see you," Bouchard's message to the driver read.
"Why am I so creepy with my Uber drivers - my bad, Todd," wrote Bouchard on Instagram soon after.
Most recently, Bouchard played in the Hana Bank
Korea Open, where she lost in the first round to Tatjana Maria.
The Canadian player also announced her participation at the
Transylvania Open, which will feature 2021 US Open champion Emma Raducanu and French Open titlist Barbora Krejcikova. Bouchard, however, will have to go through qualifications in order to secure a spot in the main draw.
