Navratilova responds after being accused of only criticising Novak Djokovic: "Women are overlooked all the time"

Martina Navratilova has been under fire from Djokovic fans for a while due to her comments on the player but she responded back.

There has been plenty of back and forth between Navratilova and Djokovic fans in the previous weeks as the former number one took a harsh stance on the Serbian refusing to take the vaccine. Fans accused Navratilova of hypocrisy with one fan, in particular, pointing out the 'selective' commentary Navratilova employs:

"Consistent hypocrisy of @Martina pinning Novak for every single move has to be highlighted. She doesn't mind blatant MSM manipulation of portraying Alcaraz being youngest tennis No. 1 ever. No men or women, but tennis No. 1. Perhaps Martina Hingis achievement at 16 is bothersome."

She responded to the fan writing:

"Didn’t see this but yes, the guy clearly forgot to put the word “Men’s”in the headline."

She then added another comment:

"It’s not a mistake. Women are overlooked all the time. Bye now:)"
