No off-season in tennis? Iga Swiatek proves that, back in training weeks after WTA Finals with World Tennis League and United Cup incoming

Iga Swiatek took to social media to confirm that she is back in training for the 2024 season mere weeks after winning the WTA Finals in Cancun.

Some players take more time off than others during the off season for example Frances Tiafoe on the ATP side has spent some of his time off so far at NBA games and award ceremonies with the former getting jibes from Ben Shelton and Tommy Paul among others.

But some like Swiatek who has been sharing her time off on socials are now back in training. Albeit there may be a reason for that with events coming up.

Some say that in reality there is no real off season and it it is kind of the case as Swiatek will play World Tennis League over the festive period in Abu Dhabi.

This before taking the trip over to Australia to play in the United Cup so the time from the WTA Finals till the new season in reality is just over a month. "Does anyone miss tennis?" wrote the World No.1 who will look to continue on from a great end to her campaign which saw her back atop the rankings and restarting her WTA dominance after Aryna Sabalenka led the pack.
