Ons Jabeur takes joking jab towards Anett Kontaveit

Ons Jabeur enjoys a great relationship with many of her fellow pros especially as the Tunisian is considered a symbol of inspiration for many tennis players around the Tour. Jabeur was set to become the first Arab women to play at the WTA Finals yet a late-season push by Anett Kontaveit made that dream not come true.

Jabeur will still travel to Guadalajara as an alternate so she will still be able to experience the event albeit from a reserved role. That did not make her lose her humor as she took a joking jab towards Kontaveit on Twitter after the Estonian knocked her out of the Finals. She posted a picture of herself and Kontaveit captioning it with 'Meanwhile in my head' and a couple of laughing emojis. Check it out below:
