Osaka attends Grand Prix event in Monaco ahead of Roland Garros

With Roland Garros barely a week away, Naomi Osaka took some time off from training to experience the thrills of the 13th Grand Prix Historique in Monaco.

The former World No.1 posted pictures and stories on her Instagram account, featuring various fashionable cars racing by during the event. Osaka also uploaded pictures of herself at the event, captioning a post with 'lol'.

The Japanese superstar has had a decent run this season, reaching the final in Miami before falling to a red-hot Iga Swiatek. However, Osaka fell in the second round at Madrid and was forced to withdraw from the Italian Open due to a lingering Achilles injury.

Nonetheless, the four-time Grand Slam champion has stated she will be competing at the French Open this year. There was some controversy surrounding Osaka at last year's event, as she withdrew from the event citing mental health issues precipitated by post-match conferences.
