Naomi Osaka won the title at the China Open in Beijing after turning the match with Ashleigh Barty in the final.

World number 1 Barty started the match better when she managed to take the opponent's service in the sixth game. The Australian also saved 2 break balls on her service and won the first set 6-3.
But Osaka played in the second and third sets at the highest level as she did throughout the tournament. In the second set she did not let Barty to get to the single break ball and she used one to win 6-3.
The decisive set was the longest, but still lasted only 39 minutes. Osaka started it off perfectly, taking the opponent's first service game already. Later she added one more break to win in the third set 6-2.
For the Japanese player, this is the third title this year after the Australian Open and the Toray Pan Pacific Open in Osaka. In the new edition of the WTA Rankings she will move to the 3rd place.
