Four-time Grand Slam champion
Naomi Osaka fired back at her critics during the week, as the Japanese superstar ramps up her activity in preparation for a return to the WTA tour.
The former World No.1 took time off to give birth to her first child, Shai in July 2023. However, the 26-year old has been working out with the intent of returning to professional tennis next season.
Osaka takes shot at naysayers, jokingly offering them job applications
The two-time
Australian Open champion took to social media to comment on her critics obsession with her, saying those with no life are the ones making the most negative comments about others.
"It’s always people with no life talking s**t about others. Like damn, do you want me to give you a job application?" Osaka tweeted.
Osaka has never held back when facing her naysayers, and once lashed at out people who made harsh comments about her taking time off during pregnancy. The Japanese ace suggested that critics should also focus on male athletes who have kids and are less accomplished.
"Btw to the people that are suddenly concerned about my career- There are plenty of male athletes with kids that are significantly less accomplished, you might wanna worry about them instead. Thanks for the concern, might wanna redirect it to someone that needs it though," tweeted Osaka in May.
