And once again the schedule of play looks differently than it should. Irina-Camelia Begu didn't manage to finish her match once again, but this time it was against Sara Sorribes Tormo. One of these players will need to play two matches on Saturday at the Prague Open.
And that's also the match that will kick-off the action on Saturday. Begu comes with 6-2, 0-1 lead from the first day, and will have a big chance to book her semifinal spot. There, the winner will meet the first-seeded Simona Halep who will enjoy some rest and come on the court in the third match of the day.
In the first semifinal match, Elise Mertens will clash with Kristyna Pliskova. The third-seeded Belgian is in a good form in Prague as she defeated Paolini, Giorgi, and Bouchard. On the other hand, Pliskova didn't lose a set yet in her home country. However, she was lucky in the quarterfinals against Bogdan when she was losing already 2-5 in the first set when her opponent needed to pull out of the match due to an injury.
