The Billie Jean King Cup Finals have had trouble finding a host city getting postponed twice but an announcement from the International Tennis Federation (ITF) confirmed the host city to be Prague. The event will run from November first till November 6th over a year after it was due to be played in Budapest, Hungary.
Budapest initially backed out from the commitment in May citing the ongoing coronavirus pandemic which forced the
ITF to look for a new host city. In the end, it will be held in the O2 Arena in Prague a venue which hosted the finals four times in the past decade.
All four times it was the Czech Republic who won the competition and they will be huge favourites as well. The event will feature 12 nations with Canada replacing Hungary who will not participate in the event.
