Taking place between 23-28 June, 2025, the Eastbourne Open is a joint tournament between ATP and WTA taking place the week before Wimbledon on the South Coast of England.
Whilst a smaller event, it has attracted a wide contingent of American stars including Taylor Fritz who will attempt to win Eastbourne for the fourth time. As well as Tommy Paul. Jakub Mensik, Ugo Humbert, Flavio Cobolli and recent grass court star Alexander Bublik are all involved.
As is the Brazilian king Joao Fonseca over the next week. Stay tuned to this article for all the latest goings on from Eastbourne!

Prize Money

The prize money is not yet set but will be increased based on the previous 2024 amounts. The men's prize fund is £630,000.
The LTA committed to paying equal prize money by 2029 to female players with the amounts heavily dwarfed in comparison to the men's.
The amounts below will be updated when confirmed with the draw but Fritz and co will likely vie for a stark amount more than usual in the latest grass court foray.

How to Watch

As ever with ATP tournaments, it can be watched throughout the world. But there is a difference during the grass court season including at the Eastbourne Open.
BBC have rights to the full tournament and so like the ATP edition, in the UK it will be on free to air TV. It will be shown on BBC TV, BBC iPlayer and also their digital service. It is the same as the WTA tournament which takes place in the week prior.
Tennis Channel in the States will also show the event in full. Further broadcast partners are not confirmed as of this time as per the LTA.
But likely it will be shown on beIN Sports in Australia as well as the usual broadcast partners but unlike Halle for instance and even Mallorca, it does not follow the same broadcast patterns.

Predictions

Samuel Gill, Head Editor for TennisUpToDate.com only sees one winner this week.
For me there is only one winner and it may be lazy and boring but it'll be Taylor Fritz.
He needs something to throw him into contention for Wimbledon and that is often Eastbourne. He will face stiff competition with Jakub Mensik and Tommy Paul being quality additions to the field.
But four time Fritz just rolls off the tongue, he will likely be champion.

Entry List

Like alluded to the Entry List features Fritz as the main man alongside Tommy Paul and Jakub Mensik making it a pretty quality line-up for the pre cursor to Wimbledon.
It may still change pending withdrawals with players such as Jiri Lehecka who is still involved at Queen's withdrawing in the mean time from Mallorca next week late on due to still playing albeit most in this field are out of their respective events.
