With the Asian swing of the WTA in full effect, fans can expect more exciting tennis at the 2023 Prudential Hong Kong Open, which will take place from 28 October until 3 November in Hong Kong, China.
A WTA 250 event, the Hong Kong Open features a 32-player singles draw and a 16-team doubles event. The tournament made a return to the WTA calendar last year, after being on hiatus since 2018.

The Hong Kong Open will not be lacking in starpower or experience as former World No.1, Simona Halep will make her return while defending champion Leylah Fernandez will return.
Katie Boulter reached the semi-finals at the 2024 Pan Pacific Open and will finish her season as the second seed. Third seed is Leylah Fernandez and will face Brit, Heather Watson. Sofia Kenin who will play in the final of the Pan Pacific Open is also involved. Top seed is Diana Shnaider who will potentially face Priscilla Hon early on.
A handsome prize purse of $267,082 is available, with the winner taking home $35,250 and 280 ranking points. Below is the full breakdown.
