The 2024 Thailand Open also known as Hua Hin will be played between September 16-22 and is the second airing of the year after it was won by Diana Shnaider earlier in the year.
A WTA 250 event, the Thailand Open will see 32 players battle it out for the singles crown, whereas 16 teams will compete in the doubles event. Like the Korea Open, it is not well attended due to being post US Open.
Leading the field is Dayana Yastremska. She faces Mai Hontama in the first round. Whilst Katerina Siniakova, Katie Volynets, Magda Linette, Varvara Gracheva among others are also involved. The tournament will see a light increase in prize money from the 2023 edition, offering a total of $267,082. The winner will be awarded $35,260, in addition to 250 WTA ranking points, as described below.
