The Korea Open takes place from September 16-22 in Seoul, South Korea. With our handy Tournament Centre, we have all of the results, schedules and information on the next WTA 500 tournament.

Increased this season to a higher tier, it initially had Iga Swiatek, Jessica Pegula and Elena Rybakina among others involved. Pegula is the defending champion defeating Yue Yuan last season in the final.

But due to the proximity of the US Open now to the tournament, it has seen a mass exodus of the big names and Daria Kasatkina is now top seed. Alongside Emma Raducanu and Liudmila Samsonova, they are the big names involved over the next week.

Prize Money

With the tournament seeing an increase in its level this year up to WTA 500, it has also seen a Prize Money increase as well as points.

Those who remain in the tournament as a result stand a huge chance to benefit and there is $922,573 on offer overall. This is a 356% increase on previous years in Seoul.
