Raducanu confirmed to lead Great Britain at Billie Jean King Cup Finals

Emma Raducanu will lead Great Britain at the Billie Jean King Cup in Glasgow as she was named part of the team.
Raducanu recently experienced a wrist injury that according to reports ended her season yet she found herself named as part of the Great Britain team. The event will be contested between 12 nations from November 8th till November 13th and the team will play in group C together with Spain and Kazakhstan.
Besides Raducanu, the team will feature Katie Boulter, Harriet Dart and Heather Watson. The decision to include Raducanu who is injured was questioned by the media immediately but captain Anne Keothavong defended her decision:
"I was literally on the phone with her this morning at the airport. We have the benefit of time on our side. The Billie Jean King Cup Finals isn't for another month."
