Raducanu dazzles in new photos released of Wimbledon photoshoot as former US Open champion still dons traditional whites

Britain’s tennis star Emma Raducanu’s new photos appeared on social media where she is wearing all whites.
The 20-year-old missed Wimbledon 2023 as she continues to struggle
with fitness concerns but photographer Tom Cockram released photos of her wearing
all white.
It seemed that the pictures were part of the pre-organised photo
shoot ahead of the meg-event but they were not released once it was confirmed
that Raducanu will not take part in the tournament.
The Toronto-born emerged onto the scene back in 2021 when
she won the US Open —which remained her only Grand Slam title — after beating
Canada’s Leylah Fernandez in the final with a score of 6–4, 6–3.
That victory was an even more special one considering that Raducanu
started the competition through the qualifying round.
However, since then, she has struggled with multiple
injuries and it was because of this reason she ended up withdrawing from the
French Open and Wimbledon this year.
Her only appearance in a major tournament in 2023 was
playing in the Australian Open where she was knocked out from the second round
after losing to America’s Coco Gauff in straight sets with a score of 6-3, 7-6.

If nothing else, backtracking on their initial decisions and finding a way to explain away reverting to minor penalties is kind of obvious at this point. Must agree. I was just reading her bio and was surprised that on multiple occassions blisters caused her to retire from tournaiments, and this for someone that played 3 qualifying rounds and then still needed to win against everybody else to win that US Open. I still cannot believe that actually ever happened. But it did. The road to the final though was kind of lucky. And after it.. she sacked the coach.
