Raducanu doesn't stop commitments amid surgery, attends Dior Cruise 2024 in Mexico City

Raducanu participated in the Dior Cruise 2024 beauty parade in Mexico City
recently.
Since her
incredible journey to win the 2021 US Open, Raducanu has not only become a
tennis superstar but also a perfect advertising figure and an icon on runways
and fashion events.
A wrist
injury has kept her out of the tour as she recently underwent surgery. However,
the British player appeared at the Dior Cruise 2024 event by the French luxury
brand Dior, where they presented the autumn 2023 collection.
Raducanu
walked the red carpet wearing a black ensemble inspired by India from Dior and
had no issue showcasing the cast she is wearing due to the injury.
“Just saw
the show here in Mexico City, and it was stunning and it was a really nice
thing to be a part of," former world No. 10 said.
The
20-year-old star recently expressed how challenging it has been to deal with
injuries over the past year. In 2023, she has only been able to participate in
six tournaments, without achieving significant results. However, she highlights
that she reached the round of 16 at the BNP Paribas Open Indian Wells, where
she was defeated by the world No. 1, Iga Swiatek.

- WTA has been unfairly ignoring Elena ever since Wimbledon. Arguably biased against her. Same with the most major sponsors whom normally pounce on the Wimbledon Winners for sponsorship. Didn't happen. Her unfair treatment was always in Lena's subconcious; how she was largely ignored after Wimbledon. Her sister helped her a lot during that period. Next came illnesses and minor injury. A lot of time was lost, and physical (mental?) issues were frequent, as she fought through the absurdiy and general nonsense brought-on by her coach/partner. He was a Loser then, he's a Loser still. Although he has lowered his attitude, volume, and non-stop yapping from the box since he wore the organizations out with his non-stop legal letters begging for mercy and ultimately fully reinstated.
