Emma Raducanu will need to used to the taxing nature of being a tennis player to succeed in the future according to former player and tennis analyst Prakash Amritraj.
The British player suffered another setback when she rolled her ankle in Auckland and retired from the event. Her Australian Open is now in doubt but she's remained down under to observe the situation in hopes of being able to play at the event. In order to have success in the future, Raducanu will need to get used to the hardship of being a tennis player.
Former player Amritraj knows how tough it is as he explained:
"She thrust into the highest level of events and she had to play that all year round. There is the physical stress, mental stress, emotional stress, all of which comes out in the body and perhaps it's just still getting used to and spending a lot more time getting the body ready."

He added:
"Hopefully, it's not something major that requires months and months of rehab but it is so frustrating, especially at this early stage. Hopefully, she can build physically and get back as quickly as possible."
