Nick Kyrgios has not played a lot of tennis lately but the Australian continues to be very outspoken and he asserted that Federer is more important than Djokovic.
Nick Kyrgios and
Novak Djokovic have not always seen eye to eye and the Australian has criticized the Serbian numerous times especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. Lately, there has been much debate about how the greater player is and Kyrgios shared some of his feeling on the matter.
He said:
"In my opinion it's
Roger Federer."
Kyrgios then went on to explain that despite Novak Djokovic has a clear statistical advantage for him it's still Roger Federer. He explained:
"From a purely statistical point of view, no one is able to surpass Nole. From the point of view of fans and sport in general, however, I believe that Roger is by far the most important tennis player of any era."
