Sabalenka claims the title at the WTA Elite Trophy in Zhuhai

It was another great tournament for Sabalenka in China. She dominated in the group phase and lost only 1 set during the tournament. In the final she recorded another comfortable victory when she defeated Bertens in an hour and 16 minutes 6-4 and 6-2.

It is the third title for Sabalenka this season and she won all 3 of them in China. She won 4 out of 5 WTA titles in her career in China and so after the match she joked about winning titles in China.

"For the next season I would like to win somewhere else instead of China. But also I would like to keep winning in China. But I'm just really happy with this title and with the finish of my singles season, it's really impressive."
