Aryna Sabalenka is into her fifth Quarter-Final of the season after defeating 16th seed Barbora Krejcikova 6-3, 6-2 in the fourth round at the
Miami Open.
Sabalenka will now face off against Sorana Cirstea on Wednesday. Krejcikova said she wanted to be part of a Big Four but the Belarusian paid heed to that showing her levels in Florida.
She went unbroken all night and faced just one break point. The opener was dictated by just one break of serve at 3-2 with Krejcikova firing in a double fault which allowed Sabalenka to go 4-2 up and she sealed the set from there.
Double faults were the issue throughout as Sabalenka pounced again and sealed a double-break lead before closing out the win. Seemingly it will take some stopping the Australian Open champion this week.
