Sam Stosur unretires from singles tennis in Strasbourg

Samantha Stosur announced her retirement from singles tennis earlier this year in Australia at the grand slam even there but it seems like she is not truly done.

Out of nowhere, Stosur played a 1st round match in Strasbourg losing out to native player Harmony Tan. Nobody was aware Stosur would be playing singles again and her entrance into the draw was a surprise for everybody but it seems like the Australian veteran might be still playing singles. There is a chance she is using the event to get back into shape for the upcoming schedule where she might play in doubles but it's not year clear yet.
