American tennis star Frances Tiafoe's girlfriend Ayan
Broomfield has stated that former world number one
Serena Williams ‘broke the
glass ceiling’ with her ability to push the boundaries.
The 42-year-old is often regarded as the greatest player in
the history of women’s tennis in the Open era in the singles category after
winning 23 Grand Slam titles in her illustrious career.
Tiafoe's girlfriend Broomfield was recently quoted in a
report where she heaped praise on Serena for becoming a role model for others by
breaking ‘the glass ceiling’
"Serena Williams has had an enormous impact on women’s
tennis fashion in my opinion, as she broke the glass ceiling with her iconic
looks,” she said. “Whether it be the beads in her hair, her cat suits or her
incorporation of street style with denim and leather.
“She has always pushed the boundaries and I think that she
has set the tone for the 'tennis dress core'. Personally, I would say that
tennis dresses are the most iconic. Personally, I would say that tennis dresses

personalize it by adjusting the length, fabric layering, or even customizing
the straps. I always made it unique to express my super fiery
personality."
