Serena Williams' husband Alexis gushes over wife: "Knew I have found someone I was going to spend the rest of my life with"

Serena Williams' husband, Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, raved about his wife and gave some insight into their relationship in a recent interview.

Ohanian attended the season opener of the NWSL team Angel City FC (which is partly owned by Ohanian and Williams) against Gotham FC on March 27. During the match, he was candid about his relationship with Williams in a quick interview with E!.

"Having someone as special as Serena as a partner is a consistent reminder of self-improvement," he said. "I knew I have found someone I was going to spend the rest of my life with because she was someone who I knew I would never outgrow."

Furthermore, Ohanian expressed how different his relationship with the 23-time Grand Slam champion was from his previous relationships. The 39-year old stated being with Williams allowed him to better himself, in addition to acting as a mentor for their daughter Olympia.

"Here was something where I got to spend the rest of my life just trying to get better," Ohanian said. "Obviously, having a child with her is a cheat code, because you really understand the opportunity you have to speak all of that into someone who you want nothing more than the best for."
