Although she has since retired from active tennis, Maria Sharapova is still involved as she attended an event in Miami that featured several female leaders who want to change the sports industry.
The former World No.1 took to social media to post images from the event, and remains active as she tries to better sports for women all over the world.
"A morning spent with powerful, smart & beautiful female leaders changing the sports industry one stiletto step at a time. Thank you for having me @f1 #WSJ #f1accelerate", wrote Sharapova.
The five-time Grand Slam champion retired in 2020, and recently gave birth to her first child, Theodore, with partner business mogul Alexander Gilkes.
