Svitolina and Pliskova headline Ladies day 4 at Australian Open

World number 2 Pliskova headlines ladies day two at Australian Open alongside Svitolina and Halep

Day 4 at the Women's Australian Open should be an eventful affair as many of the worlds top female players will be on the court. Pliskova will face Laura Siegemund who should not present any difficulties for the World number two. In the first round, she won comfortably in straight sets. A similar outcome is to be expected here as well.

Another superstar who will grace the courts will be Simona Halep. The Romanian will play against Harriet Dart. She had an easy-going in round one and is well prepared for this tournament hoping to go the full distance. Another potential darkhorse candidate to win, Elina Svitolina, will also play tonight. She is set to battle it out against Lauren Davis who can be a tricky player to beat on hard courts. How she will fare remains to be seen.

Another interesting matchup will be between Bencic and Ostapenko, two very good player's who are capable of going deep in the tournament. It's a shame they meet so early in the tournament but it will make to a spectacular round 2 matchup. Check out all the matches below:
