Four of the top ten tennis players in the world will be on Australian Open court today among them Nadal and Medvedev looking to secure round 3
After easily beating Dellien in round 1 Rafael Nadal returns to the court for his 2nd round matchup versus Federico Delbonis. After somewhat disappointing performances at the ATP Cup Rafael Nadal is looking to build upon his excellent first-round display. His opponent is not someone who should present any difficulty for the Spaniard.
Joining him on the court will be Medvedev after his tough 1st round matchup versus Tiafoe. After the match, Medvedev reflected on, what many thought, was a very good performance. He wasn't fully happy which means he has a lot more to give. Giving his best should not be an issue for Medvedev who is a fighter by spirit, but it might not even be necessary. His opponent is Pedro Portero a qualifier who on hard courts should not be an issue for the Russian.
Very good friends Dominic Thiem and Alex Zverez will be on the court today. Dominic Thiem will play against hometown hopefull Alex Bolt who received a Wildcard and won his 1st round matchup. Sasha Zverev will play against Belarussian Egor Gerasimov. It should be a good matchup as both players possess a devastating serve.
Besides Alex Bolt, the Australian crowd will have the opportunity to see Nick Kyrgios who will also play today. The fan favourite will test his tennis against Gilles Simon who just might be one of the most annoying players to play against. He's a superb defender who doesn't give you easy points and his ability to play long points and even longer matches is unmatched.
How his patience will matchup against Nick's short fuse will be fascinating to watch. Add to that the element of the crowd and you might have your match of the day. Check out the full schedule below:

- He's a Cool Dude (and very funny guy). Always fun to be in the presence of Tomasz. Something he mentioned here is what many who have coached at any level can relate to -- "the crazy parents committee". It relates to my coaching experiences in kid's sports. My #1 complaint about coaching kids is Problem Parents!! It can be a very abusive, even violent situation with many parents when it comes to their kid's sports. In the end, it was no longer worth the potential (all too common) altercations for me and I quit.
