Elina Svitolina returned at the Charleston Open recently and her comeback is going to continue at a quick pace with the Ukranian set to play next week as well.
Svitolina is not wasting any time as she wants to build up her form for Roland Garros. She's always been a very good clay player but she needs matches as physically the 3-hour battle against Putintseva gave her trouble. To do that she accepted a wild card entry into the ITF event in Chiasso next week.
It's a very small event and she'll be the biggest player there but it's an event where she might win some matches that will help her move forward. It will run from April 10th till the 16th. A week after that she'll play in Oeiras at the ITF event there thanks to another wild card entry.
