Iga Swiatek is not slowing down at the
Qatar Open sailing into the final by beating Veronika Kudermetova with another impressive display 6-0 6-1.
Swiatek won this event last year and it seems like she's on her way to winning it again. She's in the final after only two matches as she defeated Kudermetova in two sets. Belinda Bencic withdrew before she faced Swiatek which enable her to be in the final with only two matches. She lost a combined two games in two matches.
Collins won one game and now Kudermetova won the second. What can you say about this sensational performance? It wasn't close according to the score and it was even less close if you watched the match. Swiatek dominated every aspect of the match and she could have won 6-0 6-0 if she really wanted to.
She lost only one point on her serve. That's for the whole match and she lost only six points on return. So essentially she lost 7 points out of the 31 that were played in the match. The match lasted only 57 minutes. Total dominance, not much to add. Final against Pegula tomorrow.
