The 2023 Qatar Open will feature an incredible draw filled with the best in the world and a solid amount of prize money, quite a bit over the usual WTA one.
It's not by chance that the draw in Doha is as strong as it is. It's a big event, there are a lot of points to be won and there is plenty of prize money for the players. It's easier to count the players that are not playing at the event than those that are and the fact that the qualifying draw features players that are grand slam champions says it all.
The winner last year was Iga Swiatek and if she wins the event once more, she'll win $120,150. The losing player in the final will have $74,161 to feel better about and the semi-finals will offer $43,323. If you fail to reach the semi-finals and finish your journey in the quarterfinals you'll get $20,465.
The second round gives $11,145 with the first round handing out $7500. Check out the breakdown below.
Winner - $120,150
