Swiatek first World No.1 to reach US Open Final since Serena Williams in 2014

Iga Swiatek will contest the US Open final later today against Ons Jabeur and she became the first number one since Serena Williams in 2014 to make the final.

Top seeds at events don't make the final as often as people think they do simply because tennis is such a specific sport where anyone can beat anyone.
