Swiatek moves into top three of updated WTA Race after Stuttgart win as Pliskova and Jabeur head towards top ten

Iga Swiatek inserted herself in the top three of the WTA Race following her triumph in Stuttgart as Aryna Sabalenka is on top and Elena Rybakina is right behind her.

The three best players this year on the WTA tour have been Sabalenka, Rybakina and Swiatek in that order precisely. That is exactly how they line up in the WTA Race rankings as well as the Belarusian is first followed by the Kazakh and Pole. Jessica Pegula is number 4 right now with Belinda Bencic coming in at number 5.

Petra Kvitova is 6th, Krejcikova is 7th, Gauff is 8th and that would be the field if the season ended this year. There are notable names like Garcia and Kasatkinad who are not ranked inside the top 8 after being present at the WTA Finals last year.
