Jet lag is something that many people who travel experience and it's quite a tedious thing to deal with, particularly for tennis players like Swiatek who are on the move every other week.
The Polish player is not a rookie on the tennis Tour as she has been part of it for a few years now. Dealing with the travel though doesn't get any easier because you never really get used to switching continents and time zones all the time. Our own bodies have a biological clock that reigns supreme and it can create problems for those that travel a lot.
Swiatek was recently asked how she deals with the jet-lag and she explained:
"Sometimes when we are traveling like from Australia through Middle East and then States, it's all fine, but then when we are coming back to Europe, and if we are gonna go from States to China, it's going to be tricky. Going from west to east, I need just some help in like Melatonin and stuff."
She also credited her psychologist for using some other tools like lamps:
"But also Daria is working on having these different lamps that are kind of in a good brightness. So she bought me a lamp and I switch it like on a relax mode."
