The former US Open champion has achieved several good results in recent weeks, allowing her to climb in the rankings and currently sit at world No. 30, a position she hasn't held since January 2020.
Stephens aims to defend the quarterfinals she reached in the 2022 French Open and is just one match away from equaling last year's result.
However, she faces a significant challenge against Aryna Sabalenka, who could become the new world No. 1 depending on her performance in this tournament.
After advancing to the third round, many fans have commented on the good choice and variety of outfits the 30-year-old tennis player has worn during the clay season.
Stephens recently ended her contract with Nike, which she had since 2018, and has partnered with the fashion brand Free People Movement. She has been showcasing colorful outfits on the court.
I love that blue against the clay. Orange and blue are complimentary colors and they really pop against each other here. Her skin is glistening in the sun and she looks so fit and healthy. Great win today-she hung tough thru the messiness & she came out the other side a winner.

On Sunday, Sloane will play the fourth round of Roland Garros against Sabalenka on Philippe Chatrier court. The American holds the dream of reaching the final, just like in 2018 when she was defeated by Simona Halep, giving the Romanian her first Grand Slam title.
