"There is something about Nick Kyrgios" - says Kim Clijsters

Former grand slam champion and number Kim Clijsters can't wait to see Nick Kyrgios compete at the US Open because there is just something about the Australian.

Kyrios is a proper crowd magnet that usually draws many people into his matches and he proved it many times by filling out stands. The Australian knows it and it's something that's very dear to him, especially under the continuous scrutiny he receives.

Kim Clijsters is one of his fans as the former number one watched the Washington final being impressed with the way he played on American hard courts. Kyrgios played well earlier this year both in Indian Wells and Miami and he looks even better on the faster variants.

Clijasters took to Twitter to expressed her opinion on the Aussie:

"There is something about @NickKyrgios his energy on these American hard courts! Can’t wait to see him compete at the @USOpen."

She is hardly the only one as Kyrgios is considered a dark horse candidate at the US Open because of his serve and the fast courts.
