The WTA Singapore Tennis Open is a women's tennis tournament that was first held in 1986 as the Carlsberg Singapore Women's Open. The event ran annually until 1994, with a brief hiatus between 1991 and 1993.
During this period, the tournament featured notable champions such as Gigi Fernández and Naoko Sawamatsu. After a long absence, the tournament is set to resume in 2025. This marks the return of the WTA Tour to Singapore after a seven-year hiatus since the 2018 WTA Finals.
The winner will seal $36,300 with 250 points for the victor. The runner-up claims $21,484 sealing 163 points for the runner-up. Semi-Finals wise it is $11,970 for reaching that point with 98 points.
Quarter-Finals sees the players claim $6,815 with 54 points with the first two rounds seeing $4,160 and $2,975 with 30 points and one point apiece.
