Top seeds Hsieh/Strycova through, Babos/Mladenovic edge past Barty/Goerges and Gauff/McNally continue progression

We are into the third round in the Women's Doubles with the top seeds through to the latter stages at the 2020 Australian Open.

Su-wei Hsieh and Barbora Strycova, the top seeds in the competition are through. This comes after a 6-1, 7-5 win over Viktorija Golubic and Lauren Davis.
As are the second seeds Timea Babos and Kristina Mladenovic. The duo were facing home hero Ashleigh Barty and Julia Goerges; who are both brilliant at doubles in their own right and it was a tough test with a 7-5, 6-4 win.
The team known as McCoco (Coco Gauff and Caty McNally) are also through. They defeated Kveta Peschke/Demi Schuurs in a 6-3, 6-4 win; after previously celebrating with a TikTok dance after winning their last game, what will happen if they go all the way.
