"Very sweet" - Chris Evert responds on Navratilova's dream retirement

Chris Evert and Martina Navratilova were fierce rivals on the court but they have since grown to have a strong relationship outside of the court.

The former player worked as a commentator for the Tennis Channel for the final match of Federer's career and Navratilova explained how she was fascinated by the occasion adding her own vision of a perfect retirement.

Navratilova would have loved a chance to say goodbye to tennis playing with Evert and the American was very touched by that admission on live TV. She responded to a fan who was also touched by the admission:
