"Needs to find a new career, it’s pathetic" - Tennis fans blast Emma Raducanu after latest retirement

Emma Raducanu retired from her Korea Open semi-final match against Osptanko later today and tennis fans were very disappointed.

Raducanu was playing her best event all year long as it was the first one where she won at least 3 matches in a row. It was also her chance to go to a final and after the first set, she was fairly close to it. Up a break in the second set and with a set in hand, Raducanu was seen struggling not long after breaking her opponent.

Her movement became sluggish, her mood shifted and her play fell apart. She lost all momentum she had and dropped the second set and began the final one with an 0-3 deficit. At that moment, Raducanu opted to retire from the match.

It wasn't a sight that fans wanted to see as it was her mid-match retirement this year and of course, no player has more. We bring you some of the fan reactions below:
