(VIDEO) Beatriz Haddad Maia hilariously gets caught up in covers being brought on after Wimbledon win

Beatriz Haddad Maia couldn't wait around long to enjoy her win over Sorana Cirstea over on Court Three at Wimbledon in hilarious scenes.

Rain started to come down and with the almost military type operation of bringing the covers on, the ball people swiftly tried to get Haddad Maia off the court.

She looked on befuddled by what was going on and tried to remove her stuff and get off the court.

But even as they rolled the covers on, she forgot something on the floor.

Still though, she stopped to sign autographs for those that were waiting after a 6-2, 6-2 win to reach the Last 16. With the current rain delay too, she got there just in the nick of time.
