(VIDEO) Elena Rybakina explores Seville as Billie Jean King Cup Finals campaign set to begin on Thursday

With the Billie Jean King Cup set to take place this week, several WTA stars have descended upon Seville, Spain, with Elena Rybakina amongst those who took some time to explore the city before the international event.

The Billie Jean King Cup Finals will run from November 7-12, 2023 and Rybakina will be leading Team Kazakhstan in their quest for glory. Kazakhstan is slated to face Australia on Thursday, November 10, and the 2022 Wimbledon champion will be heavily relied upon to lead her nation to victory.

With the weight of her nation on her shoulders, it comes as no surprise that Rybakina took some time to explore the city of Seville. The World No.4 posted a video to social media, where she is seen walking through the streets of the city while enjoying some of the local cuisine.

Kazakhstan have been placed in Group B, alongside last year's runner-ups Australia and Slovenia. Joining the former Wimbledon champion are Yulia Putintseva and Anna Dalinina, with Kazakhstan hoping to put on a strong performance at this year's edition.
