Former Wimbledon champion Elena Rybakina has joined the new trend of athletes showcasing their lives on social media, as the Kazakh star appears to have launched a new YouTube Channel, titled Keeping Up With Lena.
The former World No.3 is not known for being extroverted on the court. Rather, Rybakina appears stoic during play, with her lack of emotion drawing a mixed reaction from fans and tennis pundits alike.
It is hard to dispute the fact that Rybakina leads an interesting life. The 25-year old travels around the world to compete at different tournaments, and undoubtedly has several unique encounters during her travels. It appears she now wants to chronicle her adventures, giving fans a behind the scenes look at what she does when she's not playing tennis.
Rybakina took to social media to post a little snippet of what to expect from her new YouTube channel. The World No.7 uploaded a video showing her riding a bicycle through a scenic path, with what appears to be her dog in a carrier behind her. Although brief, the video gives fans a quick glimpse of the quality of content to expect.
Currently competing at the Qatar Open, Rybakina powered past American Peyton Stearns to advance to the round of 16, where she'll face Slovakian Rebecca Sramkova.
