Emma Navarro will face off against a home hope at the
China Open in Zhang Shuai who snapped a 21 match losing run, the worst in WTA history. But her fun might not last for long in facing the American who certainly had lots of fun in the run-up to the tournament.
Navarro who perhaps is wrongfully tarred with the brush of being boring due to perception surrounding her family wealth showed a hilarious side during her visit to the park in Beijing.
The American who has ascended into the top ten danced with strangers and challenged ping pong professionals prior to starting her China Open campaign.
She ended off her stories by saying that she merely joined whatever she could while in the park. Starting the year as a real outsider when it came to being on the rise but yet to reach her peak, she has quickly risen.
She is now up to World No.8 after reaching the semi-finals of the US Open and after spending most of the past season not really off the court, she has had a bit of time off since but is raring to go again.
