Video: Priscilla Hon battles Petra Kvitová in contender for WTA point of the year

Australian Priscilla Hon announced her arrival to the tennis world on Monday at the Adelaide International I, upsetting Petra Kvitová in a thrilling three-set encounter.

Although both ladies put on a superb display, it was Hon who ran away with the best point of the match. Already considered to be an early contender for the point of the year, Kvitová had Hon on the ropes as she made her Australian opponent run from side to side in an attempt to hit a winner.

Somehow, Hon was not only able to keep the ball in play, but soon regained control and outlasted the two-time Grand Slam champion to force the error and win the point.
