Britain’s tennis star Emma Raducanu showed the fans highlights from her 21st birthday celebrations. In a video that appeared on social media platform X—previously known as Twitter—the Toronto-born can be seen celebrating her 21st birthday.

Raducanu, who uploaded this video first on her official Instagram account, posted a comment as well where she stated: “Turned 21 with the best thank you so much for all the sweet wishes. regardless of a challenging year there’s a lot to be grateful for. looking forward to the next chapter.”

The former world number 10 is currently spending a lengthy injury layoff which is why she ended up missing three out of the four Grand Slams this year. She only played in the Australian Open where she was knocked out after losing the second-round tie to America’s Coco Gauff in straight sets with a score of 6-3, 7-6.

Raducanu broke onto the scene in 2021 when she lifted the US Open title after beating Leylah Fernandez in the final in straight sets with a score of 6-4, 6-3.

The victory in the city of New York was even more special for Raducanu who lifted the title despite starting the competition from the qualifying round.
