🏄♀️This is the best prize/trophy ever! Thank you San Diego for an amazing (cloudy😥) week and this unique vibe. I love it here. And congrats @DonnaVekic for your amazing run! And sorry for waving my hands at the net.
Iga Swiatek apologized to Donna Vekic for waving her hand at the net again which was criticised again by tennis fans.
Swiatek recently made headlines by flailing her hands while at the net in Cincinnati which many fans thought was too much. The Polish player used it as a distracting tactic which is not unusual in tennis as players have had tricks like that for a long time.
Fans criticised her for that on social media but she did it again against Vekic in the San Diego Open and once again she got criticised for it. This time around Swiatek took to social media to apologise for the behaviour writing:
"And sorry for waving my hands at the net."
