America’s tennis star Jessica Pegula showcased her skills
during the ring toss challenge in Beijing.
The 29-year-old has recently taken part in the China Open
where her journey came to an end after losing to Latvia’s Jelena Ostapenko in
straight sets with a score of 6-4, 6-2.
Despite having a tough outing on the court, Pegula showcased
her skill in the ring toss challenge which she completely aced, much to the surprise
of a social media user who shared her video on X — previously known as Twitter.
Pegula is now set to take part in the Korean Open where she
will face Viktoria Hruncakova in the opening round.
The Buffalo-born will be hoping to have a longer run in the competition
after recent disappointments where other than the China Open debacle, she also
exited from the US Open after suffering a fourth-round defeat to Maddison Keys
in straight sets with a score of 6-1, 6-3.
In the other three Grand Slams, Pegula played in the
quarterfinal of two of them — Australian Open and Wimbledon. However, she ended
up losing both of them.
