Jessica Pegula played a fantastic clay season which propelled her higher on the ranking she ever went debuting inside the top 10 on Monday.
Monday was a very special day for Jessica Pegula as she has achieved new career-highs in both singles and doubles. Pegula broke into the top-10 for the first time in her career as he is now the eighth-ranked player on the
WTA rankings singles list. In doubles, she is now ranked at No. 13.
Reacting to the news she wrote on Twitter:
"Waking up to some lifelong milestone goals. Top 10 in singles at #8 and Top 15 doubles at #13. Sometimes there aren’t words. Just a fist pump, grit, and some determination"
It's a solid consolation prize for her considering the loss in the French Open doubles finals. Gauff and her lost to Garcia and Mladenovic in the final.
