Poland’s
Iga Swiatek and Kazakhstan’s
Elena Rybakina have
netted a handsome amount despite being knocked out from the first round of the
WTA Finals. The mega-event, which is the last in the women’s calendar, is currently
being played in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Initially, the top eight players played
in the competition, which has now been reduced to two.

netted $335k and then every win would get the players an additional income was $350k.
Therefore, Swiatek ended up earning more than a million dollars whereas
Rybakina ended up earning nearly $700k.
