"Why is a player’s psychologist over seeing her getting a haircut": Tennis fans left confused at controlling nature of Swiatek's psychologist in Break Point

The second part of the first season of Break Point aired and a scene with Swiatek and her coach went viral on social media with fans reacting to it in confusion.

Iga Swiatek is currently the number-one ranked player in the world and she's certainly one of the best players on the Tour. Getting to that level took a lot of work and sacrifice and it wasn't always smooth. Her crying on a tennis court during the 2021 WTA Finals didn't happen that long ago and her turnaround since then has been amazing.

Swiatek credited her sports psychologist Daria Abramowicz as helping her overcome those doubts she had about herself. The Polish superstar became a very vocal advocate of mental health since then championing several causes back home though the relationship left some fans confused after a scene from Break Point left them wondering.

The second part of the first season aired these days and in one of the scenes, Swiatek is getting a haircut with when her psychologist jumped in with a suggestion. Swiatek quickly dismissed her opting to do the haircut the way she wants to do. The interaction went a little like this:

Abramowicz :"We just have to make sure that she is able to tie it back up."

Swiatek: "I refuse to sacrifice my hair for the sport when everything else is."
