Iga Swiatek has revealed that she has told
her agent about procuring Taylor Swift’s eras tour tickets. The 22-year-old is
often regarded as the best player currently playing in the women’s singles category.
Swiatek is currently taking part in the
Madrid Open where
she has already booked her place in the semifinal after beating Beatriz Haddad Maia
in the last-16 clash with a score of 4-6, 6-0, 6-2. Talking to the media after
the match, the four-time Grand Slam winner was asked about whether she is still
looking to buy tickets for the Taylor Swift show.
In response to that, she stated that her manager is taking
care of it and suggested that one of the shows she could attend was sold out. "Taylor
Swift? Ask Jules, he's IMG agent, so he should get it. No, but it's hard with
the schedule. I think there’s one show that is going to be perfect but I think
the tickets are already sold out,” she said. Swiatek was later corrected that
the show was not sold out and her reaction to that was an interesting one. "Not
yet? So I can just buy them? Well, then what's the problem? (Laughs) Okay, I'll
get to it. Honestly, I didn't check before, so thanks for the reminder,” she
said.
